For a special man...

Good morning, it's Saturday and the whole weekend stretches ahead, I hope the sun is shining wherever you are, if not just stay indoors and craft! The new challenge at Sweet Stampin' this week is 'Father's Day' or 'for a Special Man'.
I made my card for my  nephew (a car freak!!) as my Lovely Dad is no longer with us.
The image is from a  Papermania set of stamps  , coloured with a red copic, and fussy cut. The black background card is embossed using an Embossalicious folder, the star and circles for the sentiment stamp (part of a Tim Holtz set) are die cut.  A nice and simple card!
We'd love to see your Fathers' Day makes this week, so why not hop over to Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog to admire the lovely creations from the rest of Team Fi and to add your own works of art.... you could be the lucky winner of a fabulous prize from one of our generous sponsors Di's Digis or Marianne Design.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Zebra and foal

Good morning, Friday again already! This year is just flying by...June is almost here!
Here's my DT card for the new challenge at  Delicious Doodles, it's a lovely theme this week,  'For the love of animals'. There are some absolutely gorgeous animal images available from Delicious Doodles, Teri is so talented! It took me ages to choose, but eventually I picked this beautiful image,  Zebras, of a zebra with her foal. I printed the image, no colouring needed!, die cut it into a hexagonal shape and mounted it onto a slightly larger green hexagon. The papers are MME, The rosette is made with a Tim Holtz Sizzix die with a brad to attach it to the card.
Well, now it's your turn! We'd love to have you join us this week, who doesn't love animal cards!
Just click here to see Team A's fabulous creations and to add your own work of art for us to admire!
Thanks for visiting!

Killer Heels in Monochrome

Good morning! There's a brand new challenge at Ladybugs Crafts Ink starting today, quite exciting for me as it's my turn to host it....a first for me! The theme I've chosen is 'Monochrome' - one of my favourites! All the Ladybugs are showcasing Killer Heels images, again favourites of mine, they're all so gorgeous. You can use any image you like to join the challenge, although we do love to see Ladybugs Crafts images and there is an extra prize for using these!

My card is made using the totally fabulous Hearts image coloured with copics and a bit of bling added to the dainty straps. I mounted the image in a die cut frame which was in turn mounted on an embossed circle edged with gathered tulle and bling! A tulle bow, a tiny tag and some hand made heart pins complete the card.

I really hope you'll be tempted to join us this challenge (or I might get the sack!!!) . Just click HERE to visit the Challenge Blog.... you'll definitely be inspired by the amazing work of the talented Ladybugs!
Have a  great day

Hanna and Friends- Use die cuts

Good morning. Here is my GDT card for the new challenge at Hanna and Friends. The theme this week is a lovely easy one - use die cuts.  My card is simply made using 3 different circular die cuts, the largest is folded to make the base. The stamp (such a cutie!) is Penny Black, coloured with copics, 2 tiny bows attached with 2 little (very old!) flower brads and a tiny hand cut tag. Quick and easy!
I have to give credit here to the lovely Judy as this card is CASEd from a cute little birthday card she sent me!
I hope you'll find the time to visit the challenge blog to admire the lovely creations from the DT and it would be great if you decided to join us this fortnight- a great opportunity to use your favourite dies!
Have a great day!

Moody Blues

Good morning. Here's my DT card for the new challenge at Delicious Doodles. The theme is 'A Bit Moody', and I chose to use two of Teri's fabulous images - Steampunk Heart and Steampunk Sally. Oh, how I enjoyed making this! Both images are coloured with copics and glitter pens in shades of blue and grey with silvery highlights. I added some feathers and a couple of home made pins to her hat, and some tiny gems to the heart. The silvery card behind the heart is embossed with clock images. the cogs are die cut with white frontage added, and attached to the card with brads. The large die cut clock is a Tim Holtz die. The little banner is stamped and the sentiment written by hand.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Why not pop by the Challenge Blog to check out the moods my talented teamies are in! Hopefully you'll be inspired to share your own 'moody makes' with us!

Introducing Eunice and Ramsay

Good morning, the big day has arrived and at last ewe can meet Eunice and Ramsay! These cute woollies are the latest addition to the Ladybugs family! There are 16 images in all (yes, 16!) and they're exclusively available from Ladybugs Crafts Ink for just £1.75 each.
To celebrate this momentous occasion Kerry is very generously offering some fabulous prizes this fortnight. One lucky, lucky winner will win all 16 of the images, and another five fortunate people will win 2 images of their choice! All ewe need to do to be in with a chance is to leave a comment on each DT (and GDT) blog, and one on the Challenge Blog. Easy Peasy! In addition to this our challenge this fortnight is 'Anything Goes' and there are prizes to be won for this as well!
Without further ado here's my card, featuring Eunice! She's a bit mutton headed and tends to forget things (we make a great pair :). The title of this image is 'Sorry'!

This card was fun to make! I printed the image twice, coloured just the head, eyes, legs and tail on one image. Then I cut out the 'woolly bits' of the second image, embossed it and attached it with silicone glue to give dimension. Various papers from stash, a border punch, die cut letters, ribbon and a cute little ladybug button to finish!
Well I think that's it from me, hope I haven't forgotten anything important !!!
Just hop on over to the Challenge Blog, there'll be links to all the DTs. We also have  a lovely and talented Guest Designer this fortnight, Cass Stomboli, ewe can check out her fabulous blog here.
I'm off now to visit my teamies blogs... we have all only seen our own images and I can't wait to see the rest, I know the Ladybugs will have created something  fabulous with them.
Thanks so much for looking... hope ewe are tempted to join the fun!

In stitches!

Good morning! Just where has this week gone?! Thursday already and time for a new challenge at Hanna and Friends, this fortnight the theme is 'Stitching', and the challenge rules stipulate that there must always be a stamped cute image on the project.
Here is my GDT card, all the stitching is faux! The image is from Pink Gem, isn't she so sweet? Reminds me of my elder granddaughter, a proper little lady! She's coloured with copics. The large pennant shapes are all hand cut, he words are a magazine freebie stamp. The bunting is die cut , flowers, pearls and buttons from stash.
It would be lovely if you joined in with this fun challenge, just click here to add your creation or to
enjoy the fabulous DT makes!
Thanks for visiting.
Hope your day is a happy one!

...a bed of roses...

Good morning! Just a quick post from me with my DT card for this week's challenge at Sweet Stampin'. The theme is a lovely one 'fairies and fantasy'. I used a beautiful but sadly neglected stamp that I've had for years. This little fairy looks so peaceful and innocent, lost in her own dreamworld. Coloured with copics, her wings stamped again onto acetate and placed on top. The roses are die cut using Little B dies. The papers are Wild Rose Studio (such fabulous colours, I couldn't resist!). A little distressing , faux stitching and some Frantage . I hope you'll find the time to join us this challenge, just click here to add your card or to check out the fab creations of the Sweeties.
Our sponsor this week is Crafty Devils with a very generous prize of a £15 voucher.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit, hope you have a lovely weekend.

WoW again!

Good morning! Almost the weekend! This weeks challenge at Delicious Doodles is, yes you've guessed it, White on White! Aaaargh I'm rubbish at these! I see so many beautiful creations on other peoples' blogs but my attempts look a bit pants! (...and a bit blue...it IS white1) Still I DO try and it's supposed to be a challenge.!!
I used the beautiful Snow Cuddles digital image, which I've coloured with shades of grey copics, the fur and bear are covered with some 'snow' paint to add texture. Various embossing folders, a diecut frame, snowflakes and sentiment. I added some tiny gems to the snowflakes to finish.
Thanks for visiting.
Don't forget to visit the Challenge blog  for some wonderful inspiration!

Spotty!

There are spots before my eyes!!! This is my card for the new challenge at Southern Girls , which is, as you may have guessed, 'Spots and Dots'. We're sponsored by the Retail Girl  and Ladybug Crafts Ink so I had loads of images to choose from! This is what I chose, and you can buy it here for just £1.75!!! These Killer Heels images are just fabulous!
I've paper pieced the image using some quite old (but beloved) papers from MME. Just added a bow, a brad, and a bit of bling! The sentiment is computer generated. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!
Thanks so much for visiting, hope you'll find the time to visit the Challenge Blog and check out the inspiration from my talented teamies! Hopefully you'll  be joining us, we'd love to look at your spots!
