Did someone say free cake??

Hi, I'm back again already with a card made with this weeks cute freebie from Catch the Bug.

I coloured this cutie with Copics, fussy cut and popped him onto the blue dotted panel using foam pads. I added a die cut sentiment and two narrow strips of the same dp.

Hop over to Catch the Bug to grab your freebie- you won't want to miss this cutie!

Thanks for visiting today- hope you have a lovely weekend with plenty of sunshine.

Something pink at Crafty Catz

Good morning, this week at Crafty Catz our optional theme , chosen by Ginny, is

add something pink

We are sponsored for this challenge by The Paper Shelter

I chose to use an image I already owned and had never got around to colouring before, a little sweetie called Charming Country Girl,  she's available Here

I have no idea what this card fold is called, but it looks pretty and folds flat for posting which is always a bonus!

The dp is Blissful Cocoa (Anne Marie Crafts), one of those paper pads that I tend to hoard and not use.

The sweet image is coloured with Copics, I gave her some grass to sit on and stencilled some fluffy clouds. The die cut roses are Little B dies,  and I added a few tiny pink pearls.

As always, anything goes at Crafty Catz, the theme is optional for those who wish to use it, so it's always easy to play along with our challenges- if you're stuck for inspiration there are some fabulous makes from the rest of the DT over at the Challenge Blog.

Thanks for visiting

Not a stamp in sight...

Good morning- once again we've reached the last Wednesday of the month and it's time for our Christmas- themed challenge at Fab 'n' Funky

I made a simple card- quick to make as there are no stamps or colouring, just embossing and die cuts. I layered the embossed white panel onto silver pearlescent card, and added the circle, snowflakes and sentiment dies- popped the gem on top of snowflake- all finished!

There's more inspiration from the team at  Fab 'n' Funky Challenge Blog and we'd love to have you play along with us this week- anything Christmas themed is great- it doesn't have to be a card.

Stand tall

Good morning, our new challenge at Sweet Stampin' starts today- this fortnight the theme is

TAGS

I hand cut the tag shape from white cardstock and used distress inks and a stencil to make the background and stamped around the edges with a lace- patterned stamp and Twilight Versafine Clair ink. I used the same ink and stamps on the sentiment strip. The  dark blue 'ground' is torn wahi tape- proud of this because I never think to use it! I added the dark blue criss/cross die cut and the green flowers- the mall ones are punched and the larger one cut from DP. The Julie Nutting doll has been coloured with Copics, her clothes are paper pieced. I added some ribbon and tiny green gems to finish.

For more inspiration please hop over to the Challenge Blog to see what the Sweeties have created this week. We'd love to have you play along- remember you now have 2 weeks to add your entries.

Thanks for visiting

enjoy your weekend.

Just Chill...

Good morning, another weekend almost here- and just a few more days until we can invite friends and family into our homes again- it will be so lovely to be able to sit in comfort and enjoy a meal or a coffee with friends without having to worry about the weather!
My card today is my DT card for this week's challenge at Crafty Catz- my turn to host this week and the theme I have picked is
JUST CHILL-
our fabulous sponsor this week is

I have used Paddling Pool Peggy - this lady sure knows how to relax!
I've used Copic markers to colour and various papers from my stash and a few brads  (doesn't seem to matter how many of these brads I use there never seems to be any less in the box!)
I hope you can find some time to pop over to Crafty Catz and see what my lovely teamies have created with these fun digis - you don't need to follow the theme to play along as all our challenges are Anything Goes.
Thanks for visiting, have a lovely day and a great weekend

Embellish it

Good morning, hope your week is going well so far. Yesterday we had some lovely warm sunshine here and I found some time to sit in the garden and finish my library book- bliss! I managed half an hour before I gave in and played ball with one determined puppy! He's brilliant at 'fetch' not quite as good with 'drop' but we're getting there.

Today's card is this week's challenge at Fab'n' Funky, hosted by N-Eva- her chosen theme is

Embellish It

I used a lovely digital image from  Mo Manning, Alisa with Roses, which I've coloured with Copic Markers. I cut out the image with a stitched circle die and layered it onto a larger circular die cut with tiny punched holes which I've threaded with ribbon. The papers are from a  Craft Sensation pad I bought in the Range, a real bargain, great quality paper and  I just love the colours! I've embellished it with die cuts (Memory Box) and some tiny pearls.

There's more to see over at Fab'n' Funky - so please do hop on over and take a look- hopefully you'll be inspired to play along this week.

Thanks for stopping by

enjoy your day

Crafty Catz Challenge #550 DT card

Good morning- I'm a little late today- life gets in the way sometimes and the best-laid-plans go to pot!

This week's challenge at Crafty Catz , hosted by our lovely Billie A is sponsored by

All Dressed Up Stamps

The optional theme this week is
Flowers/twine/ gems

The DT were given some adorable images to play with- I chose to use Country Girl. She's coloured with Copic Markers and I added some dots to her jumpsuit with a whit gel pen. I kept to a simple matted layout and  added a die cut frame, and die cut flowers, which I have again coloured with Copics, tiny pearls added to the centres.

As always there is plenty to see over at Crafty Catz, my lovely teamies have produced some gorgeous cards this week.
Our DT call is still ongoing so please check out the details while you are there.

I have a couple of  photos of Marvin to share today- he's growing SO fast, getting quite gangly with those long legs! He's outgrown his puppy basket- amazingly it's still in one piece -I thought he would have eaten before he grew out of it! I don't think he'll be in his first crate much longer either...
He's such a lovely boy (most of the time), full of fun and mischief but so sweet natured and friendly.
