Good morning, this is the first of two posts today, my DT card for this fortnight's challenge at
The theme is Special Women, celebrating International Women's Day (8th March).
This is the card I made for my youngest sister's birthday last month- she's very special to me- definitely a woman and knows how to celebrate, so hopefully it fits the bill!
The stamp is an older one from Stamping Bella, stamped onto a rectangle of white card and coloured with Copic markers. I die cut the oval aperture, then popped it up using foam tape over the stamped and embossed. sentiment. I added a few sequins for a touch of sparkle.
Hope you can find some time to join in with this challenge- after all we women deserve celebrating!
If you're looking for some inspiration pop over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created.
I'll be back later this morning with another DT card.
Chris

Beautifully crafted card with a heartfelt sentiment. The stamped and colored image adds a personal touch that's perfect for celebrating your special sister. The foam tape gives it a lovely dimension, and the sequins add just the right amount of sparkle. This is a wonderful tribute to a special woman on International Women's Day.
