Good morning and Happy Easter. I have two posts today. First up with my DT card for our mid month reminder for our April challenge at Stamping Sensations,
the theme is Anything Goes with an option of Nature/Flowers/ Birds/ Animals.
There are two prizes of Lavinia stamps and stencil (photos not to scale).
I made a fairly CAS card, blending distress inks onto a rectangle of white card and adding a little stencilling using the same colours. The flower stamp is Tim Holtz, the little bee is Lavinia, and the sentiment is part of an old set of Hobby Art stamps.
For full details of the challenge and lots of inspiration from the rest of the team head on over to Stamping Sensations.

Yes .....There are always flowers x
The blending of distress inks creates such a beautifully soft background, and the added stenciling brings a delicate texture that complements the Tim Holtz flower stamp perfectly. The Lavinia bee is a charming touch, tying the entire design together with elegance.
