Good morning, time for a new challenge over at Crafty Catz
The theme is ANYTHING GOES, hosted by our lovely Auntie Sue
our sponsor this time is
We've been enjoying (well most of the time-wasn't keen on 32 degrees) a lot of warm sunshine here in the SE. so of course I had the urge to make a Christmas card, as you do!
I used a beautiful sponsor image, Winter Warmer, which I enjoyed colouring with my markers. I used Chunky White Embossing Enamel for the snow effect. Image framed with tartan paper from stash, a stamped sentiment embossed in gold and three tiny star brads.
Please hop over to the Challenge blog to see what my lovely teamies have created - we hope you'll be inspired to join us.
Thanks for visiting
have a good weekend- I think it's going to be another hot one here!

And why not make a Christmas card Chris as it's so predictable we'll have a heatwave when the craft world decides it's time to promote Christmas goodies as it does June/July without fail. So we fall into the trap.
ReplyDeleteIt's a super image for a winer card, you've coloured her to perfection.
33deg promised for Monday so the girls will lanquish in wet towels and think they've done something special to get them.

I love how your beautifully coloured image with the tartan just says Christmas! Fab layout.
ReplyDeleteChris, this is such a lovely way to cool off amidst the heatwave—your wintery scene is a breath of frosty fresh air! The coloring is exquisite, especially her radiant hair and that warm cup of cocoa. The tartan frame is a timeless touch that adds just the right hint of tradition, and those tiny gold stars are the perfect sparkly accents. A beautiful balance of festive and cozy.
ReplyDeleteGreat colouring and the snow effect. Thank you for sharing with us.
