Winter magic

Good morning, a quick reminder of our December Challenge at Stamping Sensations.

The theme is Fantasy or Anything Goes

I made a wintery card using some beautiful Lavinia stamps and one of their lovely stencils.

I sponged  Elements Della Blue ink across the left hand side of my card blank, then stencilled over it using the Feather Leaf stencil and the same colour ink. I die cut a square panel of white cardstock and stamped a little scene using Christmas mistletoe , BrianaBasil and the Winter Magic sentiment stamp. I added glitter to Briana's wings and white perfect pearls for the mistletoe berries.

Please take a look at the Challenge Blog, you will find some magical creations from the rest of the Team, and full details of how to join in -and the prize of some beautiful Lavinia stamps.

Thanks for visiting

Chris

  14. The soft blue blending and feathered stenciling create such a calm winter atmosphere, and the way the scene fades into the open space on the right feels beautifully balanced. The silhouettes work so well against that cool background, and the little touches of shimmer on the wings and berries add just the right amount of magic.
