Hobbycutz Blog Hop

I

Hi and Welcome to the Launch of

The HOBBYCUTZ CHALLENGE BLOG...

This will a bi-weekly challenge and Kobie and the rest of the Design Team hope you will enjoy the creative projects we will showcase , and that we will inspire you all to come and take part in our challenges.

Please take a couple of minutes to read Kobie's  Story:
I am Kobie and I am the Owner and Designer of Hobbycutz Lasercutting & Designs.
I grew up in a Crafty family, with a very creative Gran, Mum and even Dad...he was always into woodworking....
I acquired a laser cutter early December last year after having my second child, which made it nearly impossible to return to work because of expensive child care, so I had to look for something I can do from home.
It was the biggest learning curve of my life and never really realised what I was getting myself into until the machine arrived.
But anyway not going to bore you with the rest, I am here and we will have to see what the future holds.....

So to celebrate the launch of this new adventure we are having a blog hop and you have 2 weeks to join in the fun and try and win some prizes.

So I hope you arrived here from
Valou's blog

If not please go back to the Hobbycutz challenge blog and start the Hop there as You need to collect a letter from each member.

The rules of the hop are as follows:

1. Leave a comment on each of the DT posts as you hop, this is a must to qualify for the prize.

2. Collect the letters from the DT's blog and email Kobie at
hobbycutz(at sign)gmail.com with the word they spell ( ps they are mixed up and not everyone has one)

3. Leave a comment on the Challenge blog letting us know which design from my website you like best

4. Display our badge in your side bar to spread the word.

The winner of the hop will receive a £10 Voucher to spend on my website and two runner ups will receive each a £5.00 voucher to spend on my website.

Not only can you do the hop and win a prize .. but we also have First Challenge running which is

ANYTHING GOES

The prize for the overall challenge which will be picked by the Random thingy will be
a £10 Voucher to spend on my website, and I will also give away a £5.00 Voucher every challenge for a Random winner using a 'HOBBYCUTZ' product.

That's the exciting news from Kobie, and here is my first DT project for Hobbycutz challenge blog,

a card for my ' baby' sister, who would seriously love these shoes and bag! The image is one I was lucky enough to win from Ladybugs Crafts Inc.,  the flower was made using a Tim Holtz die. The beautiful flower flourish is a lasercut from Hobbycutz. Now these lasecuts are a joy to use. They look pretty amazing 'naked', just as they come but they are so versatile, you can paint them, ink them, stamp them, emboss them...etc. As they are so sturdy, wood, not paper they can take quite a bit of  'treatment'!! Great for me as I'm a bit heavy handed sometimes! Anyway, this has been distress inked and embossed to give it a bit of shine.
Thank You for taking time to visit my blog.  I don't have a letter for you to collect so please hop on now to .....

Natali's blog

Hope you enjoy the hop and good luck!
