Fruity pair!

 

Hello, good evening and welcome! This post is a bit late as I have had terrible problems with my computer! It was very poorly and had to be taken away to be mended!! I have been using an old and oh-so-slow!!! laptop (better than nothing at all!) but it wouldn't support my camera program so I couldn't upload any photos! -very frustrating! Still, all is well now, my lovely desktop is back where it should be and behaving beautifully!
Anyway, back to the card... it's my DT contribution to this fortnight's challenge over at Songbird Challenges. The song title this week is 'Strawberry Fields Forever' a Beatles classic, and the theme is fruit, we would lime to see some form of fruit on your cards, it doesn't have to be strawberries (just as well as I've used pears!) We are sponsored by Meljens Designs who gave us some lovely images to play with and I chose this cute pair (pear?)! There is a story behind the design of this card. A couple of weeks ago I spent a few hours with the lovely and talented Julie, we had a great time chatting and die-cutting! I cut the base for this card using her dies and machine and I'm pleased with the finished result -although it's not in her league , she is the die-cutting queen!!! I'd recommend anyone to pop over to Rainbowdays and check out her amazing creations!
