Good evening! Hope everyone is well, and had an enjoyable weekend! Quite a lot of drama here... my son tripped on the stairs, whilst carrying a very- reluctant- to- be- carried- cat, twisted to avoid flattening said cat and broke his leg- in two places! Never one to do things by halves. He had to have surgery and pins inserted, but is now back home, being pandered to by fiancée! I don't envy her one little bit, he tends to be a little bit grumpy when forced to be inactive!!!
A little bit Grumpy is the name of this cute fairy from The Paper Shelter (just love that look on her face!!!) so I just had to make this card! She's coloured with copics. I followed a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Thanks for visiting!

Ooo - that sounds so painful- cats can be such twisty wriggly creatures - he may not have got off scott free but in the scheme of things a broken leg could be a lot worse I suppose! This is so very pretty - a gorgeous colour combo - thank you for playing along with the crafty little fairies this week hugs Judith x
ReplyDeleteOh man....I know about broken legs...did it to each of mine in separate accidents. It's a nightmare to get around and your son is definitely in my prayers for a speedy recovery. As for this card...this is simply adorable. First and foremost...her hair. I'm telling you...this green hair is fantastic for a fairy. Fairies always have pretty hair, not brown or normal colors...they're always so pretty and make you smile. This one does just that. GREAT choice of colors on this little gal...she's beautiful. Great papers and I love your stitching. Sigh...if I ever would like mine to look like yours, I guess I should get practicing rather than expect a miracle. I'm going to take a hint from this card: making the image larger and the focal point of the card cuts down on embellishments, but it makes for a WOW card. I like this one a lot and am going to save it to my desktop as a reminder of multiple things: hair color, idea for layering, size of image, color combination... I really love this card, Chris. Hugs, Gail
