Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Fab 'n Funky, it's not actually my turn this week as it's Team Fab's challenge but I thought I'd join in anyway! This week's theme chosen and hosted by the lovely Alison is 'Charm us', just add a charm to your creation, and we are sponsored by Inspired by Stamping with an amazingly generous $20 voucher!
As for the title of this post...I DO read books, lots of them! I'm an ex children's librarian and I honestly think one of the greatest gifts anyone can give a child is a love of reading, it will stay with that child forever! I love to read to my granddaughters, and to listen to them read, I'm very happy to say that they absolutely love stories and reading! So this cute Saturated Canary image had immediate appeal, love the little sentiment that came with it too!
Thanks for calling by, hope you'll be charming us at Fab N Funky this week!
Off to finish my book now!
Chris

ReplyDeleteI just love your card, Chris. That image is so cute and the colours are lovely. It's a fab idea to hang the little star charm from the bow die. I agree with you about giving children a love of reading early on - my grandchildren all enjoy reading, and the younger ones still like being read to. As a retired teacher - I feel reading is the most important part of a child's education - it's the basis for everything. Now I read mostly on my Kindle as I can't get English books in France - and I can't bring enough back from the UK to keep me going!!
