Just popping in to share a card I made using the sketch from Sketch Saturday. This was a very quick and easy make as I used an image I coloured whilst on holiday! The papers are Penny Black 'Painted Blooms', the sweet image is a freebie from Zuri which I've had for ages, unfortunately the blog is closed now and I can't find the shop....probably closed too! Shame as there were loads of these pretty images...and lots of them were free!
The card is for my eldest granddaughter's bestie...the image is just like them!
Thanks for visiting, have a good evening.

Merry Christmas!
I used a lovely image, Holiday Cheer, that I was lucky enough to win some time ago, coloured with copics, glossy accents on the glass. The papers were freebies with a magazine, just added a bow and a die cut sentiment and a holly sprig. Another card ready for the Christmas box, started off so well this year but Christmas card production had definitely tailed off recently....must try harder!
As always my lovely teamies have created some beautiful cards for you to enjoy, so why not hop over here to enjoy them, I'm sure you'll be inspired to join in....!
Have a lovely day.

Black White and Blue
A quick post from me today with the card I made inspired by the challenge at Aurora Wings , the theme is Black, white and one other colour...using grey scale for skin and hair, just had to join in!
I made a circular card with a stamped and embossed black frame, the background is stamped embossed in white and lightly coloured with distress ink...unfortunately I tipped a load of white powder into my black embossing powder (aaargh, what a Dodo!) so the 'Believe, stamp looks a bit blurry! The gorgeous image is Himalayan blue poppy, such a pleasure to colour! I used a mixture of copics and coloured pencils .
Thanks for stopping by!

For a little star!
Good morning! Just back from holiday in time to do this post! Seems like I've been away for ages, hope I haven't missed too much. We had a lovely fortnight in a very nice cottage in Cornwall...mixed weather but from all accounts a lot better than it's been in here in the SE! Mathilda loves holidays but I think she gets a bit worn out with all the attention she receives, it seems as if the whole world wants to pat a Great Dane! Have to admit she IS gorgeous though!
Anyway, it's good to be home... I love going away for a change of scene, but I'm always happy to be back home and sleeping in my own bed!
My card today is my DT card for the new challenge at Sweet Stampin', the theme is 'stars' and we're sponsored this week by Crafts and Me. There are some beautiful creations from my lovely teamies to be enjoyed by just clicking here! I consider myself very fortunate to be part of this fantastic DT with these very friendly, fun and talented ladies....the good news is that we're currently looking for some new designers....so if you think you might be interested in being part of our team just click here to check out the details.
I'm off now to visit some blog buddies....
Thanks for calling by and have a lovely weekend.

Anything goes with the Southern Girls
Good morning, here's my DT card for the new challenge at Southern Girls...it's anything goes this time! We have two amazing sponsors for this All Dressed Up and Crafts And Me, who are rewarding the lucky winners with some fabulous prizes. My beautiful image, courtesy of Crafts And Me, is by Jeremiah Ketner, and is available here. It's really worth a visit to the website, there are loads of these so- gorgeous images by this very talented artist!.
I coloured her with copics, adding some Wink of Stella to the flowers, and a touch of glitter to the bees wings.
I used various papers from my stash, the circle is die cut from yellow cardstock, embossed and lightly brushed with distress ink. The sentiment is stamped onto a snippet of honeycomb patterned DP and hand cut. The little tag is recycled, it was too cute to throw away, I've done nothing to it apart from a touch of glitter on the bee's wings. Swirly die cuts and a fabric flower which I've had for years!
Please take the time to visit over at Southern Girls/, you can feast your eyes on the fabulous creations from my lovely teamies -then there's nothing to stop you sharing your projects with us...it is 'Anything Goes' this fortnight!

Shaped cards at Fab N Funky
Our challenge this week at Fab 'n'Funky is to make a shaped card. We're sponsored for this by The Paper Shelter who generously gave the DT some beautiful images to use, however I decided to use an image, (called I miss you) that I was lucky enough to win some time ago and hadn't got around to colouring up! As always this beauty came with a pre -coloured version as well, I just wanted to colour her!! So I did...with my copics.
I made a circle step card adding some stamped flowers, a tag and die cut leaves. Sorry about the dark background to the photo, I hope you can see the shape of the card.
Thanks so much for visiting today...hope to see your cards entered in to our challenge this week.

Stitching, real or faux at Creative Moments
Good morning, here's my card for our new Challenge starting today at Creative Moments, the optional theme is stitching, real or faux. I chose this beautiful image to use, Sophie, courtesy of our lovely sponsor Rick St Dennis. I've coloured her with copics, then die cut the image with a stitched oval die. The 'lace' edging the oval frame is a Tim Holtz strip die. The fishtail banner behind the ovals is hand cut, embellished with ribbon and a little buckle (the buckle was a silver colour so I coloured it with a bronze copic) and some faux stitching. I added flowers and die cut leaves and a metallic decorative corner. The sentiment banner is a stamp. Thanks for visiting today and a huge thankyou to all of you who have left such kind and generous comments recently, it's very much appreciated!
Hope you're enjoying a great week.

Crafty Calendar -June Challenge
It's the first Saturday of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar.
This month our theme is Father's Day/ For a Male and we're sponsored by the brilliant Dr Digi.
Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. Here you will find monsters, aliens, odd balls and Dundertons as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps. Our artist and founder cut his teeth in the craft world at the company "Just Inklined", where his unique digis made a huge impression. We're hoping to continue to entertain and amuse, with our growing catalogue of great value digis with a sense of humour.
The DT were each allowed to pick an image to use for this challenge, I chose Ted and his Shed, which I printed twice and coloured with Copics. I cut Ted from one copy and stuck him on top of the other using sticky tabs for some depth. The 'frame' was made from strips of wood-patterned DP. I added some extra pots (enlarged from the image) a watering can and some tiny stamped snails (Ted's probably not too keen on the latter...)
We're looking forward to seeing your male- themed cards this month, just click here to be transported to the main challenge blog where you can enjoy the fabulous creations from my lovely teamies and add your own fabulous creation for us to enjoy!
Have a lovely weekend

Magical elf
Where is this year going...it's June!!! Hope we're in for some better weather this month, we've had a few warm sunny days here and there...but not enough for me!
Today there's a great new challenge starting at Fab 'N' Funky. Our host this week is the lovely and talented Wends and she has picked the theme of 'Magical / Mystical'. Our sponsor for this challenge is the fabulous Julia Spiri who has given the DT some beautiful images to play with, I chose to use April Elf, she's so delicate and pretty! I coloured with copics then matted the image onto aqua coloured card. The green layer is a scrap of handmade paper (beautiful texture) The DP was free with a magazine. The flowers are a HoneyDoo stamp, embossed onto vellum and coloured with inks., leaves are die cut. The bow is made from seam binding and attached with a little dragonfly brad (so old...so many left!!!) sentiment stamp is LOTV.
Thanks for taking the time to visit today, I hope you'll pop over to Fab N Funky to check out the beautiful inspiration makes from the rest of the team...and of course we'd be delighted to see what you make for this challenge too - it is a lovely theme!
Have a good week....hoping for some sunshine!
