Good morning! I have to say I don't know where the last week disappeared to, I've been so busy with the grandchildren. This is definitely not a complaint, we've had a lovely time, I'm still recovering from a day out at Chessington World of Adventures...impressing my older 2 granddaughters by going on the thrill rides with them (old enough to know better, I know -but some people just don't grow up do they?:)). This was followed by looking after all 3 of them yesterday, they're very good girls but full of energy and on the go all of the time! Wouldn't want it any other way...but it was lovely at 7pm when they'd all gone home...won't be missing them for long though, they're back on Saturday for a sleepover!
Anyway, back to the card. Our new challenge at Creative Moments is 'Anything Goes' no twist this fortnight...
We have two wonderful sponsors who generously gave the team some lovely digis to play with, I chose this lovely little fairy from Rick St Dennis she's called Pansy and is available here. I coloured her with copics and added Wink of Stella to her wings and dress (which of course doesn't show in the photo!).
The red circles are vellum, I added some stencilling with black Nuvo Glimmer paste to my background DP. The sentiment banner and stamped flowers were coloured with Zig Clean Color brush pens. The leaves are die cut.

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day

ReplyDeleteHi, Chris! You sound like a wonderful grandma, and it certainly is wonderful that there is a vivaciousness to your family's love! Beautiful! And now your card LOL - it, too, is beautiful in its brilliant colors! I almost wondered if a black light was used in photographing! LOL You achieved a fabulous combination of the vibrance in these die cuts and inks. LOVE LOVE LOVE how the colors work so well together! Have a great sleep over this week-end! hugs, de

ReplyDeleteI should be so lucky, didn't see my Grandson's for 3 week while they were in America and they were home for 3 days and are now in Scotland for a week, good job we had loads of time and sleepovers when they were younger.
