Good morning! Well, what a change in the weather after the wonderful Bank Holiday weekend! Don't think I've ever seen more rain than we had yesterday, the road outside our house was like a river and the garden was one huge puddle! I was meant to be having a day out with my daughter and granddaughters at Chessington, but we thought better of it...narrow escape there, especially as I fell down a step in the garden on Sunday and am a bit bruised and achey- no real damage done though so I was lucky!
Today we start our new challenge at Fab'n'Funky, the theme is 'for a child' . We have a lovely sponsor this week too, Little Miss Muffet, who gave the DT some adorable images to play with. I chose to use this cute little pirate, he's available here. I used my copics to colour him, then fussy cut and stood him in front of the porthole, which I made by using magazine freebie stamps from 2 different sets, they fitted together perfectly! The sentiment stamps were from the same sets, again the fonts match well!
Please hop over to Fab'n'Funky for more inspiration from my lovely teamies and of course we'd be delighted if you choose to join us this week.
Thanks for visiting!
Chris

ReplyDeleteSuper cute card Chris! I love the theme this week. I love creating kiddies cards, so this was great fun. Sorry I was a few minutes late with my final image. Kiddos (and us) have been poorly over the weekend, so still catching up a bit. Really fun challenge though and love your gorgeous creation. I think I'll have to make a boy card too now! Hugs, Wends xoxo

Well, Chris, we didn't just have a holiday but we surely have had a lot of rain. Such a sudden temperature drop, too, from the lovely sunny days of last week. I love your card! What a wealth of patterns. And yet they compliment each other so well. Love all those wonderful colours. This is a stunning birthday card complete with awesome images. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
