Quick and easy Christmas..

Hi, back again with something a little different from my earlier card today!
This week's challenge at Fab'n'Funky  is hosted by our lovely and talented Wends and she's picked the theme of 'Quick and Easy Christmas', so anything for Christmas as long as it's quick and easy to make, great idea Wends!
What usually takes me the longest when I'm making a card is colouring the image, so I looked through my stamp stash to find one that doesn't need colouring...I came across this beauty, a lovely silhouette stamp from Ingo Blue. It's quite large too so fills up the whole card easily! I stamped it with black archival ink onto white card (used the stamp platform for this as remembered it's quite difficult to stamp it by hand...so saved time and paper there!), cut it into 3 sections and mounted it onto gold card. I drew a border with a black pen and added the die cut words. I used a black card base for contrast.
My teamies at Fab'n' Funky have come up with some lovely ideas for quick Christmas creations, so why not hop over and take a look? We'd love to see your ideas and tips too, so come and join us...no sponsors or prizes this week- we're creating just for fun!

So that's it from me today, Thanks for visiting!

Chris

  2. Ooh this is BRILLIANT Chris! I LOVE the way you've created a triptych design with that image. So clever and so hugely effective! That image is gorgeous with the snowflakes in her hair too, very wintery and Christmassy. (Still odd to me that we have Christmas in the Summer, felt so much better having a Winter Christmas when we lived in the UK! LOL) Thanks for your sweet words too hun, you're too kind. Hope you're having a fabby week. Hugs, Wends xoxo
