This month's challenge theme at Aurora Wings is 'Inspired by Music'. The inspiration for my card is
Siren Song (Bat for Lashes). I used the beautiful Siren image, coloured with copics and glitter gel pens. I wanted the scene to have an eerie atmosphere in keeping with the story, the music and the image. After all a siren is no Disney mermaid! Luring sailors to a watery grave isn't very pleasant behaviour.
I kept my design simple to keep focus on this gorgeous image, there is a fair amount of texture though from the embossed vellum, liquid pearls, ribbon and the fibre-y stuff I've matted it onto.
Thanks for taking the time to visit.

AMAZING, Chris! Gorgeous coloring and the layout is perfectly dark and mysterious. That die cut wave gives such fabulous movement. Giggling at the "not very pleasant behavior" comment. Ya think? Thanks so much for joining our Inspired by Music Challenge at Aurora Wings. xxD
