Make your own background at Sweet Stampin' Challenges

Good morning and happy weekend, my card today is my DT make for this week's challenge at Sweet Stampin', the theme is 'make your own background'. I have a fabulous stamp that I was itching to use- given to me by one of my lovely Sweet Stampin' teamies- thanks again Sammy, you are such a generous lady!. This was the perfect opportunity to have a play! The background is a combination of brushos and  black distress ink through a stencil. I stamped the fabulous image with black Versafine Clair and added a few music themed stamped images and  die cuts. The sentiment is stamped onto an offcut of the brusho paper. I added a few metallic star brads.
I really enjoyed making this card, it's so good to play with inks and stamps and seeing what evolves!

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to hop over to Sweet Stampin' to see what my lovely teamie have been up to, we would love to see what you create for this challenge!
Have a great weekend
Chris
