Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar- who would have thought that our world and lives would change so much since the last challenge, I'm still finding it all a bit surreal!
However, I'm counting my blessings that my family and friends are all safe and well., so many people have not been so fortunate.
On to today's challenge, our wonderful sponsor this month is Sheepski Designs
and the theme is 'Add a Butterfly'.
I took the opportunity to use a beautiful image that I've had for ages, Butterfly Hair, I think this is the first Sheepski image I owned and it's certainly not the first time I've used it!
I used my copics to colour and made her a flaming red head! I kept the rest of the colours quite neutral to make her hair really stand out! The papers are from DCWV, Mariposa, very old and much treasured! I added a delicate little die cut butterfly (Memory Box).

That beautiful hair colour reminds me of great Grandson and I love this gorgeous image, beautiful papers and card design Chris..glad you are safe and well, I am too, but ran out of cardstock for card bases, I was going to go and get some then lock down happended so left with none..looks like I will be recycling to keep going...lol..

Chris has just shouted up to me that another 500 have died today and one was a 5 year old boy, how the hell would you cope with that,
ReplyDeleteYou do, do some fantastic hair colour and the subtle background colours really shows the colour up proudly.
My hairdresser has closed the shop and I said to Chris, it could be at least another six months or even longer before she opens agai , will be very interesting to see just how much grey hair I have!!!??

ReplyDeleteI am struggling to watch the news now Chris yet I do need to watch it at least once a day. Scary times and you certainly feel weird not hugging your family members and friends :( But as you say there are worse off than us and hopefully we will see this through safely. I am loving that hair, wow your colouring is just amazing. Colouring is one thing that keeps my mind occupied as I really have to try hard lol. Keep safe xx
