Good morning, hope you've all had a good week and are staying safe and well. It seems such a long time that we've been restricted to our homes, far longer than 7 weeks but at last there are signs of being able to do a little more as long as we remain careful!
Yesterday I walked past our local garden centre which is now open again...the queue didn't look too bad, much better than I thought it would be so might venture out for some plants later...it will seem like a real adventure. One thing I did notice...which is NOT good was the amount of litter on the grass verges now that the fast food takeaway has reopened! It really makes me angry that people think it's okay just to drop their litter instead of disposing of it properly, why do they want to look at a mess? I don't!! Rant over!
Today's card is my DT make for this week's challenge at Crafty Catz, it's Aunty Sue's turn to host this week and she's picked a great theme for the DT to follow...'Outdoors'. Our fabulous sponsor is
These images are such fun and great to colour!
I chose to use Beryl the Biker, isn't she fantastic? Out ion the open road, enjoying the speed and the wind in her hair! She's coloured with copics, fussy cut and adhered to the background, created with a sunbeam stencil and various die cuts.
The team have pulled out all the stops this week and created some really stunning cards so do hop over and take a look.
As always our theme is optional so there's no excuse for not playing along!
Thanks for visiting
Chris

Chris this is awesome colouring spot on and i can just imagine she is having the time of her life. Have a good weekend
ReplyDeleteWhat a riot, Chris! Great little scene you have provided for the crazy biker girl! I was thinking of wearing a glove and taking a bag on my next walk around the neighborhood (I try to go out every day). It's the same here, with the trash. So sad that people don't see a problem with throwing it out a car window.
ReplyDeleteA fab card. Fun and colourful. Thanks for joining Aud Sentiments challenge. Elaine
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Chris, great image with a super background and lovely bright colours. Our village garden centre opened this week too, we walked past yesterday and there were less cars than usual but that will be because the cafe isn’t open yet. Have a good weekend.

We have the litter back too Chris, I get so hot under the collar over these pigs, everyone was good in full lock down, staying off the streets and being kind, then give them a bit of freedom and they revert back to just the way they were..
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I LOVE your wonderful colouring here and such a fun image, brililant background and fabulous card
luv CHRISSYxx

Fabulous card, Chris. Love the design and what a wonderful biker image! xx
ReplyDeleteI have 'Life in the Fast Lane' running through my head now Chris!! Hehehe, what a brilliant creation and so so cool. Love your stenciled/diecut scene, so cool hun and a cool theme for sure. I'm with you on the litter hun, hope folks can wise up about that. The neighbourhood is not their rubbish bin! When we lived in Muswell Hill in London, there was a cool sign someone put on their front fence, that said, pick up your litter, there's no such thing as the 'rubbish fairy', always made me smile! I wanted to add 'or the dog poop fairy' too! LOL. Sigh, people huh?! Hugs, Wends xoxo
ReplyDeleteFabulously designed and fun creation, most gorgeous colours too.x
