Floral gift box

Anything But a Card!

Good morning- hope you're feeling refreshed and revived after the weekend. It was very wet here on Saturday but much better yesterday- I spent time in my craftroom and time in the garden reading so a quiet and peaceful couple of days. I was thinking of booking a cottage for a week somewhere in the countryside or near the sea but I'm worried that it's still a bit too early- would be lovely to get away for a few days though.
Today is 'Anything But a Card ' day at Catch the Bug- I made a little gift box featuring the lovely Floral Border digi- I do love colouring Jodie's gorgeous floral images. This is quite small- just 61/2 inches tall, ideal for a small gift or some chocs. The ribbon band keeps the lid flap closed and easily slides on and off.

Thanks for visiting
Have a great week.
Chris

  3. What a lovely gift box, Chris! Your days sound like mine, with reading and crafting and doing little odds n ends in our home. I'm so grateful for each day. The Bugaboo gift box is fantastic and that darling little tag, with the prettily colored floral border, is especially lovely! Wishing you a great week! hugs, de

  6. The box is really cute and the colours are beautiful Chris. I know what you mean about wanting to get away. It is still such a worry and with so many people moving and flying about it is definitely going to get worse! We finally got a bit of sunshine at 6pm today!!

  7. Wow, this is a lovely box Chris and I love the beautifully coloured image, I first thought it was a slimline card, loving the green..sounds like a nice idea to get away to a little cottage somewhere..I think I would like to be beside the sea, I could just sit and stare at the ocean for hours..

  8. Super box with a great image and lovely colours, a really good choice, I hate challenges that are 'Anything but a card' as I have no idea what the heck to do, you have an excellent job.

  9. Beautiful creative design Chris Love the image must see if I have that one as I love what you did with this. Going away would surely be great but being safe is greater. We are lucky to have the beach close bye and the Lake so walks are always in place WHEN it's not raining. [which we still have on day three] Our pool has gone green from the rain acid and gunk flowing into it.... yuck. The face on my journal is a stamp by Dina Wakley. One sided face, stamped twice and one side reversed. Ugly stamp but oh well... x

  10. This is one fabulous box. Love the style. I live in a small seaside fishing town But oh dear I hardly dare venture into town at the moment . It is heaving. No social distancing. Narrow streets don’t help. It might be wise to wait until the kids are back to school? I feel very hemmed in too. It’s a difficult time all round isn’t it, x
