Good morning, hope you're all well and coping with whatever restrictions the pandemic is having on your lives right now- it does seem to be going on...and on, suppose we just have to get on with our lives as best we can, but I think it's going to be a loooong winter. I shouldn't be complaining because the area I live is relatively 'safe' and, so far, I'm allowed to be seeing my family as long as there are no more than 6 of us -so at least I can see my granddaughters!
Anyway, enough of me waffling on, I'm here to remind you that it's time for this week's challenge at Crafty Catz.
Lovely Nick is this week's host, she's chosen the theme of 'Wild and Crazy'-optional as always.
Our sponsor for this challenge is the fabulous Paper Shelter, who generously provided the DT with a fun digital image to use, Cute Cave Girl.
The image is coloured with copics, lightly inke around the edges with Distress ink, some stamped grass and leaves.
I inked my embossing folder (a magazine freebie) with peeled Paint Distress Ink and embossed a rectangle of lighter green cardstock, then cut the aperture to make a frame for my image.
I added a stamped sentiment and die cut the letters for 'Go Wild'
For more ideas using this cute image just go and see what my clever teamies have come up with this week.
Thanks for visiting today.

Gorgeous and fun card Chris and I love the tropical leaves and how you inked them up and made a frame, fabulous colouring on your image too..at least with Winter coming most peeps will stay indoors anyway, we went through the worst of all this in the Winter, and I really think as it was cold people were just okay to stay indoors..stay safe.

Love this so much Chris! Perfect embossing pattern and I love how you made it overlap the image a bit. Great colouring to, especially that purple hair. Also love the leaves you stamped on the background to make the image melt together with your background, so clever!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Glad you are getting to meet up with family Chris. We are allowed two family members at a time into the garden, but not into the house which sucks at this time of year as its so cold and wet most of the time. But as you say better than getting Covid. This little girl is absolutely adorable, I want to watch the Flinstones now.
ReplyDeleteCool card with a beautifully coloured image! Thanks for joining us at TPS this week, good luck! Hug Lena
