My card today is for our new challenge at Fab'n' Funky, the theme picked by our lovely Pat K is 'add a stamped or die cut sentiment' so plenty of scope there!.
I made this card some time ago for my lovely shopaholic friend- she's really pining at the moment- online shopping just doesn't do it for her!
The intrepid lady on the skateboard is an AI stamp, I think the stamped sentiment is part of the same set but definitely AI too.
There are plenty more inspiration cards over at F'n'F, so do hop over and take a look, hope you feel inspired to play along this week.
Do take care out there- and thanks for taking the time to visit.
Chris

A wonderful card, love that crazy lady on the skateboard, such a fun image.
ReplyDeleteWe have been saying the same about Schools from the start, my two eldest grandsons have twice now had to stay home because of close proximity to students with confirmed cases, its crazy it really is, I worry all the time especially about the ones in Nursery. Not much we can do is there, but this is awful and I hope your granddaughter is well.xx
Such a fun image Chris. LOving your colours and design. Your die is GORgeous!!

I'd rather see what I want than on the internet too.
Freya's been off school twice up to now and is at home as I type. .
Not seen my eldest Grandson since he moved and he only lives 1 mile away {spoke of course}, his partner is a nurse and dealing with this every day!
I Agree with you Chris on the virus thing and schools, one of our granddaughters has been sent home she’s had a test too thank god it came back ok ,she’s been sent home from school 6 times this year because of her friends or teachers been proven positive for Covid the latest being last Thursday shes 16 and is suppose to be sitting her exams but now she’s at home isolating yet again, also our 8 year old great grandson who goes to a different school has had a test too but hes ok , so yes it looks like the covid loves the schools..Anyway I love your beautiful fun card and what a fab image you have used just what we want a bit of laughter in our life’s don’t we . I hope things are a bit better for you Chris and you are starting to feel a bit better.
ReplyDeleteSending a big hug.

Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteoh my how worrying for you hopefully everthing will be alright.
My Granddaughter got sent home from school as someone in her class has it.
Just keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't get it.
Luckily she is the healthier one as her brother is the one that has alergies and everything always affects him worse than others.
Your card is brilliant and so perfect for your friend.
Such a fun image and a super design as always.
I think I have forgoet what it's like to shop not the same interent shopping.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
A really super fun image, thought it was a photo of me going down to the shops this morning. Great colours and lovely papers.n fun sentiment.
ReplyDeleteBoth my Grandsons have been sent home from school due to a few having the virus, 3 last week but were already off school so not infected while they were still at school. Three more on Monday and both Grandsons' were sent home as they had been in close contact with different ones. Working from home, given work to do and also seeing lessons through Google Classroom, so they are so pleased about that, that's not a joke. Ethan is pleased as it is his GCSE year and Austin, while he still wanted to go to school was pleased with the Google Classroons lessons.
What a mess.

Oh no, I hope your Granddaughter is doing ok Chris!! Let us know how she gets on. Schools being open is a worry and I feel kids will bounce back with their education no problem if they have to stay off for a while. I worked in school for 13 years, primary, and kids are just so resilient! I just love your card, what a lady. Wish I could zip through the shops like that lol. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card for your shopping friend! Love the granny on the skateboard! My daughter (teacher) just got put on quarantine until 12pm Thanksgiving Day because one of her 6th graders tested positive. They have been back home and doing virtual lessons since Monday again.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Chris..I hope you will be all safe and well soon huggles Suex
