December Challenge at Crafty Calendar

Good morning, it's time for our last challenge of the year at Crafty Calendar.

We are sponsored by Lili of the Valley and our theme is Christmas.

Imade a simple aperture card featuring a cute sponsor image, this adorable polar bear is available Here.

On a personal note- my eldest granddaughter went back to school on Monday after having 2 weeks off as she tested positive for the virus. She managed 4 days before being told to isolate for another 2 weeks as another child in her bubble has tested positive. So frustrating!!! Can't see it improving soon either all the time it's being spread in the schools. Hurry up with that vaccine!!

Thanks for visiting, keep yourselves safe.

Chris

  3. Such a sweet image, beautifully coloured. So sorry to hear about your granddaughter. There was a suggestion that we'd delay going back to school have online learning for a few days after the holiday to help reduce the spread of any infections due to the relaxation of restrictions. Not to be, however, so it will be business as usual at school straight after New Year. Perfectly safe to have 700+ people in one building with no social distancing, as long as it's a school, apparently. It makes me so angry! xx

  6. A great EF and such a lovely cute image and a great CAS card too.
Oh poor girl and the problem is that when the vaccine is ready it is the elderly that will get it first. I was going to add that at least, at this time of the year she will not be missing much lesson wise BUT it is also the fun time at school and so she will be missing that.
So far so good Grandsons school been ok.

  9. Gorgeous card. I do love that wee polar bear. I don't think I've used him this year......yet.....

Sorry to hear about your grand-daughter. That is very frustrating. It's been a tough year for us all, but I wouldn't like to be one of our young people at school. Scott is sitting his prelims this week and next, even though there's no actual formal exams in May!
