Good morning, how is it possibly December? As always, I've realised that despite making Christmas cards (on and off) all year, I've nowhere near enough- so some quick cards needed! This one didn't take long at all, the die cut frame was lurking on my desk, the image I wanted to use it for didn't fit in the shaped aperture, so I made a similar one and this was surplus to requirements. All it needed was an image. a sentiment and mounting onto a card blank. I inked and stamped a little snowy scene using a Lavinia tree stamp and some tiny deer and distress inks to fit inside the aperture.
There's plenty more inspiration over at Fab'n'Funky where our lovely N-eva has picked the theme of 'Winter Wonderland'.
Thanks for stopping by today

Gorgeous, Chris - I love the frame. Great when a card comes together with bits you originally made for something else. I've got a box of these bits, just need to get my act together to do something with them! xx
ReplyDeleteSome really super dies and really great images, love that background scene.

ReplyDeleteI am the same with Christmas cards. I'm sure I don't have enough, I just keeping throwing them in the drawer in the hope that somehow they will magically multiply. Maybe I should actually take them out and send them though xx
A perfect scene with perfect colours.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same Chris. Last minute rush as per usual.
I had one year of missing a few people giving them 'normal' cards, but, they let me know how disappointed they were lol.
