Dreaming of summer....


 Good morning,  this week's challenge at Crafty Catz begins today, this week our host is Christine and her chosen theme is 'Dreaming of Summer ' (oh yes!) .

the DT were given this gorgeous image to play with , it's called Having a Good Time...and he looks as if he is! The image comes with both coloured and black and white versions as well as backing papers. I choose to use the uncoloured version as TPS images are so lovely to colour, I used my Copic markers and DIs for the background.  
The die cut flower is Ditsy Florals (Tattered Lace)

It's been a whole week since I last managed to post! Someone has been keeping me very busy! I think a young puppy takes up nearly as much time as looking after a baby, it's so important to put the time in when they're young and learn so quickly, also they're not puppies for very long and you have to enjoy the puppy games while you can! He's been given a clean bill of health  from the vet and has now had his first injection. We're looking forward to the day we can take out him out and introduce him to the big wide world.

    Oh I am sorry but Marvin takes the show here Chris, he is adorable with his little paws like that and makes me crave to get Bella home and train her up....what a beautiful pup and good he has a bill of health.
    Now your card is also gorgeous, but I have run out of words as I keep looking at Marvin as I am typing. Great card though. xx

    Oh My! He truly is BEAutiful. LOve how he crosses his paws and he looks as though he's going to be very photogenic.
    FABulous colours on your card Chris. LOve your design. Think we are all dreaming of Summer! Lets hope it's a good one.

    Hi Chris,
    I love your wonderful card and he does look so chilled and enjoying himself.
    Beautifully coloured as always and I love the colours too.
    Oh my your puppy is gorgeous and such a swetie.
    Yes you are right they don't stay puppies for long.
    I remember when my Son got his 2 and they are now 9 years old which makes them quite old like me in dog years.

    That will be me next week hopefully! Glad your puppy is in good health, my poor door is on steroids at the minute after a visit to vet. He has Vestibular ataxia and can't walk in a straight line at all. Poor wee thing. Your card is just brill!
