I die cut a square of white cardstock, stamped the floral image and masked it off. I used a stencil (magazine freebie!) and black ink to create the chevron pattern. I stamped the little girl (a Vera Lane stamp), masked that too and stamped the flowers she is sitting on and added the stamped sentiment. My copic markers were used for colouring both images. I placed the panel on a black card base.
I've spent most of the morning in the garden, sitting in the shade -reading. I did give Marvin a good brushing though, his adult coat is starting to come through now, at the grand age of 6 months. He's looking very handsome but oh boy everywhere gets covered in his hair- every day the vacuum cleaner is absolutely full of it and when I brush him it comes out in handfuls! I keep thinking we're going to have a bald dog at this rate- but oh no the hair is never-ending- his coat is thick, shiny and getting a much darker red. Here he is- my handsome boy! Looks as if butter wouldn't melt- looks are very deceptive...!
Thanks for visiting today, keep safe and healthy and cool!

I love this quirky little image, your card is just gorgeous. Marvin is a very handsome boy indeed! Don't talk about hairs!! Our little dog Squirt sheds his coat all over the house. We brush him twice at day when he is really badly shedding and you could make a coat out of his hairs each time!
ReplyDeleteThat's fab Chris! You know I love Janet's images and this one is no exception. Gorgeous xx
