Good morning, I hope everyone is keeping well and avoiding the dreaded virus. I have to say I'm not too sure about the wisdom of people not having to isolate after testing positive being brought forward, seems much to soon when there is still so much of it about. I understand that with the vaccines and anti viral drugs people are less likely to be seriously ill but it seems hard on the vulnerable and high risk members of society as I am sure that there will be people who will go to work and about their business as if they do not have it especially if they don't have any symptoms! Worrying times!
Enough doom and gloom, I'll move on to the card. This is my DT make for this week's challenge at Crafty Catz, sponsored this week by
Our host this week is Janet, our lovely and talented newest teamie, her optional theme is 'Add a ribbon'.
The team were given some super cute sponsor images to play with, I chose to use Gnome Couple and a sentiment that came with it. I printed the image with a grey outline rather than black, trying for more of 'no-lines' effect. I've once again used Copic Markers to colour. The papers are from my scrap drawer, plenty more where they came from, I've used a scrap of yellow ribbon and some printed border ribbon, tiny flower brads and a wooden heart, coloured dark ble with DI.
On a personal note I had a lovely visit with my brother in Blackpool. He seems to be doing well, gets very tired still but it's early days yet. We went out to lunch, which he enjoyed- good for him to have a change of scene and someone different to talk to. We all enjoyed watching Marvin, our Lab., playing with Tia, his Cockapoo there's just a few months between them and she's as crazy as he is! Horrendous weather- rained the whole way there- nearly 300 miles of motorway, traffic and rain- not fun- and continued to rain all the time we were there. We took Marvin onto the beach at Lytham and he looked like a mud monster- all ok he washed it off in a giant pool of water (not sure if it was sea or rain)- he had a whale of a time! The next day we took him to the park instead so he leapt into the pond....
I've waffled on enough now so I'll leave you in peace- don't forget to check out the challenge.
Thanks for visiting
Chris

Super cute image Chris. I LOve your design and it's Fab to use up what we call 'Scraps'. Sounds like a horrendous trip up, but, a lovely time whist there. Happy that you managed to get out with your Brother. Sounds like Marvin had the most fun, a new friend and so much water to play in. I've looked after a Cockapoo and they never, never stop.
