Some crafting therapy is needed this week- our poor little Marvin had 'that' op! I felt so mean seeing his scared little face inside the 'cone of shame' and spent the night sleeping (well not-sleeping!) on the sofa next to him. By the next day he'd bounced right back, doesn't seem to be any discomfort at all from the surgery- eating and drinking as normal (greedily)- and his tail was wagging again! He doesn't like the cone but isn't frightened of it now- he's learned to manouvre doorways etc- and I've learned to stand out of his way when he comes charging through- keep him quiet for 2 weeks! Some hopes!! Today only day 3- he is full of energy, bouncing around the house like Tigger on speed- It's going to be a long fortnight!!.
This is Marv, before his op, trying out the recovery suit - he looked so cute- like a little convict-
but vet said not recommended ...
don't be fooled by that innocent little face- he's already learned to use it as an offensive weapon!
Anyway, I made the card above to add to my rather pathetic Christmas pile. Not sure what the fold is called....triple step card? The gnome stamp is from Polkadoodles, white embossed card mounted onto blue glitter card, some die cut snowflakes and die cut sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by
Chris

ReplyDeleteOh dear, poor Marvin, what can I say!! Rosa had her's last month and the recovery suit worked well, wonder why your Vet wasn't keen. We do also have a soft collar one of the other girls had but wasn't needed in the end.
