Good morning, I originally scheduled this post for this morning- should have been on our way to Germany for a river cruise - unfortunately the holiday has been cancelled due to the heavy rains that Europe has had- the boat we should have been on is stuck somewhere impassable.
We only found out late Wednesday evening so still sulking about it- I was looking forward to a whole week of not cooking!
At least I hadn't packed, that would have made it even worse.

I used a pre coloured digi I already owned, he's one of a set called Musical Rabbits, and just so cool!
I printed him onto a music sheet background, added a die cut 'Happy Birthday', the rest of the sentiment is computer generated. A quick and easy make for a music loving friend!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your cancelled river cruise because of the rain. It was the opposite in June 2022, our Rhine cruise was interrupted because of river levels dropping to 18” in places because of the intense heat. We were taken by coach for five hours, missing out the middle section of the river and swapping over to a different ship for the last part of the journey. The following week the cruises were cancelled. We certainly are getting some crazy weather.

ReplyDeleteGoodness me Chris, how very disappointing for you, know how much you were looking forward to it. Years ago we had a Far East trip cancelled last minute as the UK airline went bust overnight. I do hope they compensate you adequately.
