Dandelion clocks

Good evening, not often I make a post this late and not often lately that I make a card just because I can! I started this earlier in the week and then the sun came out and the garden called...

The image ( Mo Manning of course) is an old favourite of mine, one of the first digis I ever bought - she looked so much like my eldest granddaughter I just couldn't resist! Olivia is 17 now, very much a young lady but this image still makes me smile. My colour choice was influenced by her favourite colours at the time- anything pink or purple was a hit with her! She even managed to convince her younger sister to choose blue as her own favourite- that meant that Liv always got the pink one!

Image was coloured with markers, I played with some dandelion stamps (Lavinia) and inks to make the background papers.

This is the sketch I used from Cheerful Sketches

Thanks for stopping by, have a good week.

Chris

  22. Your card is filled with sentimental charm! The Mo Manning image, reminiscent of your granddaughter Olivia, adds a personal touch that's both nostalgic and heartwarming. The background created with dandelion stamps from Lavinia and inks complements the colors inspired by Olivia's favorites, making it a truly special and meaningful creation.
