Good morning, Fab'n' Funky Challenges are back with our first challenge for 2025.

Just what we need in these cold dark winter months.
Once again I've used a Mo Manning image, this one is only available on Patreon. I've coloured her with Copics and fussy cut. To make the background I blended Distress Oxide Inks over a rectangle of white cardstock and then used an A&C stencil with the same coloured inks. I stamped the sentiment, flowers, border and little ladybird then coloured them with watercolour markers and acrylic ink with touches of white gel pen- the colours are brighter IRL, couldn't get a very good photo.

Chris you have to tell me how you got her eyes to match the image, I tried and they just looked so big and not right, I know its me but its driving me mad, haha.

ReplyDeleteWhat a bright and beautiful card to start the year! The Mo Manning image is just adorable, and your coloring with Copics really brings her to life. I love how you created such a vibrant background with Distress Oxides and the stencil—such a perfect contrast to the sweet image. The little ladybird and added details like the flowers and white gel pen highlights really make everything pop. Even though the colors might not show perfectly in the photo, I can imagine how stunning this must look in person.
