A quick reminder

Good morning, a quick post today with a reminder of our July Challenge at Stamping Sensations. The theme for this month is Anything Goes with an option of Summer Blooms. I found this floral stamp in my stash- years old, it's part of a set of clear stamps, lost its packaging years ago, so I don't know the brand. A quick and simple card, the background is Distress Oxide ink in shades of pink , yellow and orange through a postage style  stencil. The sentiment is from another very old stamp set, I think Woodware, but guess what- no packaging!

Please hop over to the main challenge blog for some lovely inspiration from the rest of the team, full details of how to join in and the lovely prizes on offer.

Thanks for visiting, have a great weekend- whatever the weather (thunderstorms forecast here but we really do need some rain!)

Chris

  4. Fabulous design, love the silhouette flower over the coloured shapes. Wonder if the thunderstorms will come to anything-certainly need them to clear the air.

  10. I can see this card from where I'm sitting at my desk and very pretty it is as well. Inspired by you I eventually managed to source a stencil, not quite the same but similar enough, just need to actually get inky and use it.

  11. The soft blend of pink, yellow, and orange in that stenciled background feels like a warm summer sunrise—such a lovely complement to the elegant silhouette blooms. I especially appreciate how the simplicity of the layout lets the florals take center stage without distraction. It's amazing how a long-lost stamp set can still bring fresh inspiration, and you’ve made it shine beautifully.
