Did someone say cake?

Good morning, is it just me or is this summer just flying by! Late July already and the children breaking up for the summer, I do hope we have some good weather over the next month or so, it must have been horrible for them to be shut inside a hot classroom - or exam room- when the sun is shining outside. I think it's much easier for parents to keep them entertained when the weather is good too- and a lot less expensive to be able to go the park or beach for picnic than it is to try to keep them occupied when it's raining all the time.
Ok, enough waffling and on to the card- my DT make for this fortnight's challenge at
the theme is Anything but a square.
I think this fold is called a bandstand?, quite simple to do and it folds nice and flat to post. The cute image is from Beccy's Place and I've coloured using my markers. Papers are from Polkadoodles. I've stamped and white embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today- don't forget to check out the main  challenge blog, there are some fabulous cards from my lovely teamies!

  7. This Bandstand fold is an absolute charmer—clever, compact, and packed with personality! I love how it opens up like a mini stage, spotlighting that scrumptious chocolate cake image and cheerful sentiment. The embossed greeting adds such a crisp, celebratory touch, while the fold itself gives it that extra bit of “wow” without over-complicating the design. It’s a joyful twist that’s sure to bring smiles even before the envelope’s fully open!
