Bingo board at Fab 'n' Funky

Good morning, there's a great new challenge starting today over at Fab 'n' Funky, our clever Buffy has created a fabulous Bingo board for us all to play with.

                                     Gems   Yellow    Die Cuts
                                     Blue     Flowers  Ribbons
                                     Lace     Circular  Red

Here's my card using the top line across. I had a play with my new favourite toy.. a Gel plate... and some Distress Oxide inks ( wonderful messy fun) and created the yellow background. I stamped and embossed the butterfly stamp and cut around the edge. I used a stitched edge square to die cut the yellow card to size and then used the fancy corner die. I adhered this to my black card blank then cut again around the edge of the butterfly stamp leaving a narrow black border The sentiment is also a die cut with a black gem replacing the dot. I added 3 tiny yellow gems to finish. This was actually quite quick to make (apart from washing all the inky stuff...especially from my fingers!!).
Hope you choose to play along with this fun challenge...just hop over here to see my teamies' fabulous makes!
Thanks for visiting today

  7. I have no idea what a jelly plate is, seen it talked about here and there but they don't seem to have them at my local craft shop, to be honest at my local craft shop they seem to be getting less and less card making supplies, more into knitting and fabrics for quilting these days, SO annoying.
Great card, love the yellow and black and great edge to the card.
