Crafty Catz Challenge #453 - Anything goes with optional twist- Spring

Good morning, our challenge this week at Crafty Catz is hosted by Billie, who has picked the lovely  theme of 'Spring', as always the theme is an option to use if you wish.
We're sponsored this week by LeAnn's World 101, with a  prize of 2 images for the lucky winner.


 
The DT were lucky too...we were given some lovely images to use!
I used this cute couple, Rocky and Renae, they look as if they're enjoying the spring sunshine during a stroll in the park. I used my trusty copics to colour them up, then cut an oval aperture from a piece of embossed green cardstock and popped the image underneath. I added a couple of borders cut from yellow cardstock, stamping the sentiment onto the top one. A die cut flower with a tiny button to finish.
I'd like to add that the colours are not so harsh IRL, the yellow is really pretty and has a sheen to it!

    Hi Chris! They are just so gosh darn precious and the way you colored them is so sweet. It reminds me of me and my sister when we were little; she was blonde and me the brunette. Of course that was so long ago we've gone through many different hair colors since then....haha! The embossed background is gorgeous and all of the die cuts work together beautifully.
