Good morning, the challenge theme this week at Sweet Stampin' is GREEN...yes it's as simple as that...something green and something stamped! I slashed some brushos onto a piece of white cardstock and stamped my lovely tree on top then stamped the sentiment (stamps from Crafty Individuals)The background is made up of diecut strips in various shades of green. 3 little brads to finish. I used snippets of card as well as older stamps and the brads have been in the box for years...so feeling quite virtuous about this card!
I'm scheduling this post as will be enjoying myself in London on Saturday...early Mother's Day treat from my daughter as she will be away at the end of the month! I'm looking forward to spending the day with my gorgeous girl!
Thanks for stopping by, hope you all enjoy a lovely weekend too!
Chris

gorgeous green shades and a great stamp, lovely to be able to use up some old stash
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use multiple shades of green, Chris. I actually considered you had used a paint chip in the background until I read your post - you die cut each color individually, and they are lined up perfectly! Even your 3 embellies match the green theme. Beautifully done with the Brushos, too!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your time with daughter in London! Sounds like the perfect outing with the best of people! hugs, de
So pretty. Fantastic idea to use up some coloured cardstock that I got in my left over stash. TFS
