Good morning, our August challenge is up and running at Christmas at Sweet Stampin', quite scary to think that there are only 4 more challenges this year! This month our optional theme is Snow people.
I used a very old wood backed stamp and coloured with copics. then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment stamp across the bottom of the image and on the 2 layers beneath...try not to look at the wonky bits where it's not lined up properly...then added some die cut foliage and a scrap of twine.

Chris, this is so melt-my-heart sweet - lots of nostalgia and yesteryear "feels" to it. I love the little snowflakes all over, and the bough with greens and berries! I cannot imagine "cold" anything these days. Our hottest days are generally in September, but we've definitely been having them all August! And steam rising from the pasture in the middle of the day, and windows coated with water on the outside (not just mere condensation but real water!). Your luncheon date sounds like a beautiful way to spend time with the specialest of the girls in your life! Hope you enjoy many more days like that, too! hugs, de
