Spring Chicken!

Good morning, I hope everyone is staying safe from the storms, it's definitely a time to batten down the hatches and stay indoors where it's warm and dry! I'm firmly staying put in my craft room today!

Today's card is for our new challenge at Crafty Catz, this week  our host is Aunty Sue, the optional twist for those who would like to use it is 'Add A Sentiment' and we're sponsored by

BECCYS PLACE

Visit My Online Store

There are some amazing images on Beccy's site- loads of fabulous freebies too, so it's definitely worth a visit.
I've used an image from the Spring Chickens set, the lovely Henrietta, coloured up with copics and fussy cut to stand inside the oval frame. The sentiment is from the same set.
The papers are from LOTV- I've had them for ages! The flowers and leaves are punched.
Hop over to the Challenge blog to see what my teamies have been up to this week and of course it would be great if you choose to join in!
Thanks for visiting
Have a good weekend (and a safe one!)

  11. Forgot to say not venturing out either today, my garden rocking chair has taken a walk down the garden path, but it can stay there as I am not going to get hit by anything flying around out there.
    Lots of love Jenny L.

  16. I love this Chris, what a fun design! The colour combination is fabulous, the dark blue looks great with the pops of red and yellow, and I always love to see gingham on cards like this, it just reminds me of picnics and days in the country... a perfect match for the image. Fabulous!
    Cheers,

  18. Hi Chris, oooh it's wonderful! I love the image, and your sentiment - overall, again, just wonderful! Also really, properly, well impressed with the shape, makes me and my squares or rectangles look positively pedestrian! Was it a fiddly make?

One of the trees in our garden, that was on it's last legs anyway, has broken completely but only fallen against the rest of the tree - so no damage done. Lost a couple of fence panels, and chased a flying recycling bin (and contents) other than that the storm didn't do any serious damage.
