Good morning, Crafty Catz challenges are back ! For this first challenge of 2025 we are sponsored by
with 2 lovely digis as a prize for our lucky winner.
The theme for this fortnight is Anything Goes
the optional twist is
Clean and Simple.
I used a sweet digi I already owned, Wellie Boots, she's all coloured up with Copic markers. I added a stamped sentiment, a swoosh of green Distress Ink , stamped and embossed some little white daisies with tiny pearls for the centres.
I really knew I didn't like snow and ice- nasty dangerous stuff! Came a cropper yesterday on a patch of black ice, fell onto my back and bumped my head. It hurt! Fortunately no broken bones, just black and blue and stiff and aching so it could have been a whole lot worse. I think I'll stay indoors now until the spring!
Thanks for visiting
Chris

Beautiful colouring on your image Chris, and lovely eye catching background swirl - very creative. Sorry you’ve had a fall on the ice .. I must admit I haven’t ventured out at all this week as we live in a side road which is completely snowed and iced up and very treacherous. Take care and stay safe xx

Chris, your card is absolutely stunning! The clean and simple design really highlights the beautiful coloring and those adorable daisies. I'm so sorry to hear about your fall—black ice is no joke. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a warm, cozy winter indoors.
A lovely card Chris, sweet little image and super colours. I do hope you are feeling much better after your fall, the ice has been really bad around here and as we live on a hill its hard to walk safely. Take care of yourself.

This is such a striking and gorgeous CAS design Chris! LOVE what you've done for this card! The ink swoosh with the embossed daisies is genius! I'm catching up after a bit of a break in January and just want to say a huge thank you for all your comments and encouragement last year. It was a very full year and I hope to do better this year with commenting on my 'blog' buddies posts. We are a disappearing breed! So it's lovely to have a few crafty buddies who still pop in to my blog and I will endeavour to do better with reciprocating this year! xoxo
