Less is more.....

After talking to one of my lovely classmates at a recent Scrapbook Sisters class, I thought I'd have a shot at the lessismoore challenge. This weeks challenge is to combine 3 previous challenges.....ok I picked  Week 4 -3 squares
             Week 7- masculine
             Week 9 - a touch of red.
There are so many ways to arrange 3 squares on a blank card!!! - but in the end this is what I made!
(It is actually straight, it's my photography that's wonky!)

Big shoes

The girls in my family (big and small, young and not-so-young) all seem to be obsessed by shoes so I just love this image! Sadly, although I still love shoes, I tend to go for comfort these days! My days of platform soles (the bigger the better!!!) and high heels are a thing of the past, ah well I certainly made the most of it when I could wear them!
The gorgeous papers and flowers are Prima.

An easel card

 

I made this card for a very special friend. The cute Mo Manning image is really appropriate as she loves to cook - when my daughter was small she loved to sleepover at Auntie Rose's as they always did baking (and we all enjoyed the results!)
The photo is pretty bad as my 2 year old grandaughter insisted on 'helping' and kept moving the card at the crucial moment!

1 layout, 2 cards.

Good evening all!
This is a layout I made following sketch 198 from creativescrappers, a really lovely sketch.
The gorgeous papers were left over from a class at scrapbooksisters (I'm a really slow worker so I always have loads left over!!) I'm feeling really virtuous as I used the last bits and pieces to make the following 2 cards.

For this one I kind of loosely followed the same sketch as the scrapbook layout
( entering it for "anything goes with a button"totallygorjuss)

and then used up the last little scraps on this one! Had a lovely time stamping and inking!

Layers and lace

 

Good morning! It is still morning... just!  I am enjoying a lazy morning, I've  been reading, taken Maisie, my lovely Great Dane for a very short amble around the woods (she forgot how elderly she is a couple of days ago, chased a cat - it was teasing her! - and hurt her front leg -trip to vet- and now she's supposed to be resting )  and that's about it! I just love Saturdays when I'm not at work!
This card was made using a Lily of the Valley fairy stamp, Boho Chic papers,  doily and some beautiful lace.

Another fairy...more pink !!!

I never really thought of myself as a "pink person", much preferring blues and greens, but with 2 small grandaughters who are very much into pink I think I've been brainwashed!  So here is another pink card!

I 've been qite busy this week, working and looking after my 2 little grandaughters, but now I have a couple of days off (hooray!). I made this card, using a really cute stamp by "love you to bits". My little grandaughters both love to help in the garden (especially with anything to do with water!) so this card is for them!
