Crafty Catz Challenge #555- Optional twist- Make a scene

 Hello! Running a bit late today with my post for this week's challenge at Crafty Catz. I'm off on holiday tomorrow so I've been busy packing and getting and getting the house ready for Marvin's 'babysitter', a lovely friend who has kindly offered to stay here with him while we are away. Usually we take our dogs with us when we go on holiday but at 5 months he's too young for the journey. Also he has kleptomaniac tendencies and I wouldn't trust him in someone else's property! He really loves his Aunty Helen and she loves him so I know he'll be perfectly happy with her but we're going to miss him!

Anyway back to the card...this week the optional theme has been chosen by our lovely Nick,

I made a bridge fold card, the background toadstool houses are a Polkadoodles stamp,  the little fairy is from Jenoviya Art and the toadstool border is a die cut, also Polkadoodles. I've used Copic Markers to colour.

One for the boys

 Good morning, this week our challenge theme over at Fab 'n' Funky Challenges has the theme of 

'FOR THE BOYS'

chosen by our lovely and super-talented Pat K.

This is the card I made for my nephew- a stencilled background using various colours of Distress Inks, a die cut keyboard and a few stamps. I don't have a die for a guitar so I stamped onto black cardstock and fussy cut it. to create the guitar silhouette.

Tag- You're It! at Crafty Catz Challenges

 Good morning, what a fabulous week of warm sunshine we've enjoyed here! It's been so lovely to spend some time in the garden...even if Marvin does make sure that it's not particularly peaceful! At 41/2 months old he finds impossible to resist the lure of plants, flowers, stones, bees, ants, snails- well anything really! Still what can you expect from a puppy- I'm sure he'll grow out of eating everything one day...please!!

Yo ho ho ! Guest Designer at Digi Doodle Studios

Good morning, I was lucky enough to win a challenge at Digi Doodle Studios, and delighted to be invited to Guest Design for this month's challenge. 

The theme is BOYS TO MEN

 I made this card featuring the cute Pauly Pirate (thank you Dina), he's coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut, I stood him on a desert island in the shade of a palm tree, a Tonic Studios die cut. The rolling waves are cut from very old dp, I think Nitwits. The ship is hand drawn and the sentiment is a stamp.

There is plenty more inspiration to be seen from the fabulous designers over at Digi Doodle Challenges,  it's a great theme this month, hopefully you'll be inspired to play along.

Hi, I'm back again already with a card made with this weeks cute freebie from Catch the Bug.

 

I coloured this cutie with Copics, fussy cut and popped him onto the blue dotted panel using foam pads. I added a die cut sentiment and two narrow strips of the same dp.

Something pink at Crafty Catz

 Good morning, this week at Crafty Catz our optional theme , chosen by Ginny, is 

add something pink

We are sponsored for this challenge by The Paper Shelter

I chose to use an image I already owned and had never got around to colouring before, a little sweetie called Charming Country Girl,  she's available Here. 

I have no idea what this card fold is called, but it looks pretty and folds flat for posting which is always a bonus!

The dp is Blissful Cocoa (Anne Marie Crafts), one of those paper pads that I tend to hoard and not use. 

The sweet image is coloured with Copics, I gave her some grass to sit on and stencilled some fluffy clouds. The die cut roses are Little B dies,  and I added a few tiny pink pearls.

As always, anything goes at Crafty Catz, the theme is optional for those who wish to use it, so it's always easy to play along with our challenges- if you're stuck for inspiration there are some fabulous makes from the rest of the DT over at the Challenge Blog.
