Afternoon all, hope you are having a happy, restful Sunday. I would just like to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone who posted such kind comments on my last card, I was so pleased , particularly as we have had a very sad and difficult time over the last couple of weeks.
Well on to this card, this very classy lady is one of a set of stamps I bought some years ago from scrapbooksisters , her elegant suit has been paper pieced and the rest of her coloured using copics.

I stamped the butterfly and flourish onto white card, coloured butterfly with copics and glitter pens. stamped the image again onto acetate, cut out butterfly and stuck it over the first image. I then glued tiny gems over the flourish, hope you like it!

Cute little guy....

Evening all! Got back from my holiday yesterday.... I know why it's so beautiful and green in the Lake District... it never stops raining!!  Realised that it's my nephew's birthday tomorrow and I hadn't made him a card.... I haven't really got my crafting head on yet,  so I decided to make him a name card(whenever I'm stuck I go back to this 'old faithful'. I learnt how to make these cards several years ago at a class held at scrapbooksisters and taught by the amazing Gayle Bond, if you haven't seen her work check out her blog here, I promise you won't be disappointed! This card is a very much simplified version of the ones Gayle taught, but I needed to be speedy! I used the letter templates that I was given in the class and added a free digi( the  robot!) from sherykdesigns he's such a cute little guy! I am going to enter him in the new challenge blog at  digihaven which I read about on chrissy's blog (another very talented lady!)

I would also like to enter these challenges digitaltuesday anything goes
