Not quite 101!

Horrible weather today...chucking it down with rain and very cold...a perfect day to spend in the craft room! I'm finding it helps at the moment, starting to be able to concentrate on what I'm doing for a bit longer.
Anyway, I've been wanting to play along with The Library Challenge for some time now and I've finally got around to making a card. The challenges are all  based on books and this time it's 101 Dalmatians ...I so wanted a dalmatian when I first read this book!
I used a Tim Holtz crazy dog stamp and did a lot of masking to create this card, there aren't 101 of them but you get the idea! The sentiment is computer generated and I didn't have any black/white spotted dp so I punched the 'spots' from white card and stuck them onto the black.

Thanks for visiting

- mine is definitely the dog, they are wonderful animals, intelligent (usually!), faithful and fun, they come in all shapes and sizes-something to suit everyone!- and they make the best pets...a house is not a home without a dog!

Wish

Good morning, here's my card for the new challenge at Sweet Stampin', the theme this week is 'circles'. I used a fabulous Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that was given to me by a lovely friend, she's coloured with copics and sprinkled liberally with glamour dust (the image ...not my friend!) The gorgeous dp is the last scrap I have left of a set of papers from years ago, it has a beautiful shimmer IRL.There's a die cut dandelion clock hidden behind the circle panel (see below)

Please hop over to Sweet Stampin' to see what my lovely teamies have created for you this week.
Thank you so much for dropping by today, I'm hoping to get around and visit later, seems a long time since I last called by!
Have a good weekend
Chris

Hello, I'm back

A brief explanation for my sudden absence...my wonderful Mum passed away at the end of March. I've been too sad for blogging and unable to concentrate on anything for very long. I still have  'not so good' days but  I'm coping better now and trying to get 'back to normal' and back to crafting.
I have to admit I did not realise how difficult I would find it to write this post, so I'll just say a big heartfelt thank you to all those of you lovely people who left messages of sympathy and for all the beautiful cards you sent.

I'm planning to be back on Saturday ...with a card.
hugs
Chris
