Spread your wings

Hello, I'm back from holiday after a lovely week in the Cotswolds, what a beautiful part England it is! We had a restful, stress free week admiring the picturesque towns and villages in the area, enjoying delicious meals in the local hostelries. (Strangely all my clothes seem to have shrunk during the week, must be something to do with the change of water :). Mathilda, our Great Dane enjoyed herself too...she is a complete celebrity wherever we take her, lapping up the attention and admiration as her due...no exaggeration -one day over 40 people took photos of her and we lose count of how many people stop to stroke her! Here's a photo of her taking a little time out to smell the flowers!

and here she is proving that no matter how much you enjoy a holiday there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed!

I made the card before I went away with a couple of challenges in mind, but didn't get around to blogging it. The image is one of my favourites from Delicious Doodles, and was coloured some time ago. The cogs and clock are die cuts, embossed and distressed. Sentiment stamps are Finnabair the wings are grunge board, lightly embossed with gold EP. It was a fun card to make!

Thanks for looking
Chris

what brilliant card and such a very lovely design.
The colours are excellent and such omderful items used also.
That image is great and very lovely.
You could join the current Frilly and Fubkie challenge with this as it has circles on it.
Great photos of your dog, and I can see why he was a crowd pleaser.

Sounds like a good time was had by all! It is a weird phenomenon that clothes shrink when you're on vacation. It happens to me all the time!

Your dog looks so soft. It's no wonder people want to pet her, and her coloring is gorgeous!

Oh, your card . . . It's amazing. I love all the different layers. There's so much to see! and the image is gorgeous. Thanks for putting on your thinking cap and taking on our Name Game challenge at Cut it Up!
