Spread your wings

Hello, I'm back from holiday after a lovely week in the Cotswolds, what a beautiful part England it is! We had a restful, stress free week admiring the picturesque towns and villages in the area, enjoying delicious meals in the local hostelries. (Strangely all my clothes seem to have shrunk during the week, must be something to do with the change of water :). Mathilda, our Great Dane enjoyed herself too...she is a complete celebrity wherever we take her, lapping up the attention and admiration as her exaggeration -one day over 40 people took photos of her and we lose count of how many people stop to stroke her! Here's a photo of her taking a little time out to smell the flowers!

and here she is proving that no matter how much you enjoy a holiday there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed!

I made the card before I went away with a couple of challenges in mind, but didn't get around to blogging it. The image is one of my favourites from Delicious Doodles, and was coloured some time ago. The cogs and clock are die cuts, embossed and distressed. Sentiment stamps are Finnabair the wings are grunge board, lightly embossed with gold EP. It was a fun card to make!

Thanks for looking
