Still running late....

Hello, still trying to catch up with myself after the fun and games I've had this week! (See previous post!) . Finally spoke to my husband this morning, he's doing well after the op but won't be home until after the weekend, the doctors want to keep an eye on those fingers! He's going mad with boredom already, not even allowed to get out of bed, but not in any pain, so best place for him these early days. I'm writing this post whilst waiting for my daughter, we're off to visit the invalid.

Back to the DT inspiration for the new challenge at Southern Girls, the theme this week is 'Anything Goes', sponsored by SLS Lines and Lacy Sunshine, so a great chance to win some fabulous digis. Speaking of fabulous digis, the image I used on my card is the beautiful Wisteria Enchantress courtesy of Lacy Sunshine, such a delightful image to colour! The frame around my image is hand cut and embossed, decorated with die cut ivy leaves and sick on butterflies which just happened to be the perfect colour, flowers and ribbons from stash, die cut leaves and 'Love' sentiment. 'Daughter banner is hand written.
Take a moment to hop over to Southern Girls, you'll be delighted with the wonderful creations from my teamies, then it's over to you to show us what you can do!

Beautiful card Chris, love the step design!! Stunning image and I love the vines around the archway, so lovely! May I be entirely nosy and ask if they were able to reattach Geoff's fingers? Either way, I hope he is doing alright. hugs :)

Oh Chris, worried to hear about your hubby. Hope the op went well and he's going to be okay! Hope he has a kindle to pass the time. My hubby really enjoyed his when he was stuck in hospital a few years back. Sending love and healing thoughts. Gorgeous card BTW, utterly love that image and the way you've coloured it! Her hair looks fabulous. Gorgeous arch (handcut?!! Go you!!!) Love the ivy and the 'stuck' on butterfly. Big hugs, Wends x
