Creative Moments # 138

Good afternoon, hope your week is going well so far. My card today is my DT make for our new challenge at Creative Moments, the optional theme this week is feminine as the 8th March is International Women's Day.
I used a pretty image courtesy of Scrapndipity, one of our lovely sponsors for this challenge. The image is called 'Wind in my hair'  (sorry link doesn't seem to be working) I coloured her with copics, then used a stitched circle die to cut her out,  I mounted this onto a slightly larger embossed circle of card. Two more efs were used to create the embossed background squares. I added the stamped die cut banner and some die cut butterflies.
I apologise for my lack of visits and comments this week, my Mum was rushed to hospital early hours of Saturday. We spent 12 hours in A & E waiting for a bed for her, not an experience I would wish on anyone. Happily, she is much better now and we're hoping she'll be home by the end of the week. Added to this I've had no internet connection since Friday night as we had a problem with our landline phone...not been a good few days.
Please click here to hop over to Creative Moments for full details of all our lovely sponsors and prizes, hope you have time to play along this fortnight.
Thanks for visiting today
Chris

Wow! Your colouring is absolutely stunning. Hope all is well with your mum; we've been in a similar situation with my mum, who fell and broke her hip. Just make sure you look after yourself. Sending a big hug xx

That lovely coppery colour of the hair looks totally stunning against the all white background and not only is the hair beautifully coloured so is the face. Stunning card.
Please don't apologise for not commenting or visiting, unfortunately these things happen and your place is with your Mum. Glad to hear that she will be ok.
