Here's to laughing....

Good morning, our theme at Sweet Stampin' this week is 'Grandparent's Day', which I have to admit threw me at first- we don't celebrate it in the UK and even if we did I'M the grandparent...not gonna make myself a card... So after I finished sulking I decided to make a card with grannies on...I'm sure these 3 fun ladies are grannies! The fabulous image and sentiments are part of a set of clear stamps from Art Impressions (Live, Laugh Love). Coloured image with copics and paper pieced some of their clothes, old dp from stash and some tiny die cut buttons.
Why not hop over to Sweet Stampin'  for a look at what the rest of the DT have created...some great i interpretations of the theme! We'd love to see your interpretations too, so hope to have you play along this week!

Love this Chris! Brilliant take on the challenge.

Have a good weekend, hopefully you have better weather than us. Think we're going to get a swimming pool in the back garden.

A brilliant fun card Chris and those 'girls' look like they are enjoying there own company. As for grand parents day , the kids have enough to sort without more expense, I know my value to my lot I don't need any more cards, I will accept gifts though...especially crafting naughty. Enjoy your weekend.xx

A really fun and colourful creation, lovely to see you at Allsorts challenge, thanks so much for joining in with our 'Feminine' theme. Apparently they do sell Grandparents Day cards in the UK, but I don't think many realise that.

Chris, this is a great card I love the humor of the AI card. Don't's not a big deal here in the US. I think it was Hallmark's way to try to sell more cards and it just hasn't taken off since we already have Mother's Day and Father's Day.

I just LOVE this card Chris! I'm so gutted that we didn't get many entries to this challenge, because you and the rest of the team utterly NAILED it! Gorgeous creation, a real favourite. Hugs, Wends xoxo (your paper piecing is AWESOME!!)
