Shabby Chic

Good morning and happy weekend. Here's my card for this fortnight's challenge at Sweet Stampin', the theme this time is Shabby Chic/ Distressing- definitely not my forte!
The sweet image is one I've had for years, I think it came from Funky Kits which sadly no longer exists, it's already part shaded which made it easy to colour, although I think I prefer it uncoloured. The edges of the dP are all distressed and inked, I've added some flowers, die cut leaves and metal embellishments and a big organza bow. he sentiment is an LOTV stamp.
As always, there's some wonderful inspiration from  the Sweeties over at Sweet Stampin' just click on the link to take a look.
Thanks for visiting

LOve your colours and design.. Such a pretty bow and lots of lovely embellishments going on here too.

Yeah, shabby chic isn't for me either. I mean it made me doodle. But it won't make me do **** ;)

I'd forgotten about those images, good to see it getting an outing again!

It's a lovely card - very effective. Shabby chic not my thing either - I struggle with it - but you have certainly done the theme justice. Thanks so much for sharing at Cardz 4 Galz xx Lynda DT
