Good afternoon, I'm a little late with this post as I went for my Covid booster shot this morning- all went smoothly until we got back home to find that we couldn't actually get back home- the workmen who have been putting in the broadband fibre cables all over our town for months and months - traffic lights wherever you go- even a short journey has at least 2 sets of temporary traffic lights which seem to take forever to change, decided to dig up the end of our road (no warning!) We had to go to our local garden centre (more traffic lights) and have a coffee while we waited- at least it was decent coffee!
This is my DT card for our new challenge at Sweet Stampin' where we are celebrating our 12th birthday.
I used a Stamping Bella Curvy Girl stamp, coloured with copic markers to make this CAS card, the background is stencilled.
There are loads of fabulous cards from both teams over at Sweet Stampin' please do take a look. We'd love you to join the party fun- the theme for this fortnight is Happy Birthday- remember to stamp something!
Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend
Chris

The stencilled background surrounding your in draws the eye to her, she's a beauty Chris, totally understand your frustration at not being able to get home, they could at least allow residents access
What a sweetie. LOve your design Chris. Her hair is FAB as always.
Keep your fingers crossed! Every time they dig holes near us? Once finished they tend to dig another a few yards further down the road. Seem to be never ending.

Beautiful card Chris and I love the colouring and background.
I would have been fuming at all that yesterday, things are bad enough. Glad to hear you got your booster though, I am still waiting for mine because they come to me so its abit different.xx

Love this long legged beauty and fabulous colouring and love the background too..so annoying when no notice is given, annoying enough that it has to be done, is this a senior feeling that has just started, nothing used to bother me but everything does now..ha ha ha..

Lucky you, you have already your booster. We have to wait till next year unfortunely.
Your CAS always have a wow factor to them I so need to learn
Lovely card Chris, super sweet image and great background. We have the same problem as you in our village only it’s the Water Board laying new pipes for the next 14 weeks, holes and traffic lights everywhere, think we just need to hibernate till spring!!!

Hi Chris,
this is such a gorgeous card and your colouring of that sweet image is perfect as always.
Oh my that journey sounded horrendous lickily there was a garden centre for yo to have a cofee while you waited.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
So gorgeous Chris, this card is perfect for our birthday celebration. Love the stencilled background too, it's all fab! Glad you got home eventually, no fun that there were delays coming back from your booster, but yay for good coffee! Hugs, Wends xoxo
You have showcased her beautifully. Love this card! Our estate has been ruined between waterworks and internet who decided to dig up one after the other. It's like a patchwork quilt here now and yes we were locked in at one stage. Organised chaos!!
