Anything but square at Fab'n'Funky Challenges

Good morning,  this is my DT make for our new challenge at Fab'n' Funky, the theme for this fortnight is 'Anything but square'. I made a twisted easel card , a simple fold that looks quite impressive! the tropical print DP  was a magazine freebie, the glass shape is quite large, I used a Dutch Doobadoo template, coloured the straw and lime slice with Copic markers and paperpieced the main body of the glass and the little parasol. The sentiments are stamps of various different brands.

There's more inspiration from my teamies over at Fab'n' Funky, so please do pop over for a look, then why not join in- we'd love to have you play along.

Thanks for visiting

Chris

Hi Chris, love this one! The shape is fab and the image is such fun! You keep making me think I should really do some shape other than the run of the mill square or rectangular that are my go-to's!

What a fun card, Chris! The magazine print paper is beautifully edged in the tropical orange! So sweet. I always loved making easel cards, but discovered my non-card-making friends did not understand how to open them. Finally, I printed a tiny "map/sketch" of how to open it and glued it on the back of the card so they could display the card properly LOL. Do you ever find that a problem?By the way, the ombre effect in the drink is dreamy! huggers, de
