Girly...

 Good afternoon,  hope you're enjoying a pleasant and relaxing Sunday. I've had a lazy day today, it's a bit windy for sitting in the garden although the sun IS shining, so it was a toss up between summer house and craft room- craft room won. I had every intention of making a Christmas card/s but this happened! Never mind, being the proud 'owner' of 4 granddaughters I can never have too many 'girly' cards, they like them for their friends birthdays. As you can see from the photo it's fairly CAS, digi image (so girly!) is from Polkadoodles as is the stamped sentiment. I coloured with my Copic markers and added some sparkle to her bodice with a sparkle pen, cut out with  a stitched edge die and matted onto DP. I stamped the sentiment, it all looked a bit bare so I added a little stencilling in the top left hand corner..... then sat on my hands to stop myself adding anything else! 

My daughter has just messaged me to say that my son in law, just back from a golfing holiday in Portugal, has Covid...again...along with 4 others from the golfing-party! He tested himself before visiting his grandmother who is in her late eighties- thank goodness he did. Anyway, take care out there-there's a lot of Covid about again just now....

Summer colours at F'n'F

 Good morning, hope the sun is shining for you as it is here. Our challenge at Fab'n' Funky for this fortnight has the lovely theme of 'Summer Colours' picked by our lovely N-Eva, who is hosting this week. I've chosen to use warm yellow/orange tones- makes me think of sunshine. The images and stamps are Aall & Create, coloured with copics and a white gel pen. The background was created on the gelli plate with added stencilling and stamping.

Crafty Calendar June Challenge

Hello, hope you're enjoying a pleasant Sunday afternoon. A quick post from me- still playing Catch-Up after my holiday. This card is for our June Challenge over at Crafty Calendar, which is sponsored by

 All Dressed Up, the theme is 'Anything Goes'

The image I have used isNew Hair Do, so sweet. I've used copics to colour in shades of grey- it looked a bit dull so I gave her a bright yellow bow. Papers are from my scrap box- so many to use up! I've added a stamped sentiment a die cut bow and tiny diecut buttons.I finished the back of card to match.

Celebrations at Fab'n' Funky

 

 Good afternoon, this is my DT project for this fortnight's challenge at 

Fab'n' Funky- a bit late as I was on holiday, I had intended to schedule the post before I left.. but ran out of time! The theme for this challenge, chosen by our lovely Pat K, is 'Celebrations'. 

I made a bottle holder and tag, celebrations are always more fun with a glass of wine or two!  I found the template and instructions for the box here, very clear and easy to follow. I used a pre- cut tag- the stamps are Aall & Create - Boozer Dee, coloured with Copics.

Sweet dreams

 Good morning, I'm fresh back from a lovely week in Dorset just in time for this week's challenge at Crafty Catz. We actually came home a day earlier than intended as Marvin was in the sea a lot and I think he has Limber tail-poor boy- he seems a lot more comfortable now but we wanted to be sure that we could get him to our own vet if need be... such a shame as he was having the best fun on the beach and playing in the waves- doggy heaven! I do enjoy going away and exploring some of our beautiful countryside and beaches but it's always great to be home and sleep in my own bed!

Anyway back to the challenge and the card...

our optional theme is 'Cute Animals'.  I used a stamp from PInk Ink, coloured with Copic markers and added a little stencilling using a Lavinia stencil.

3 of a kind at Sweet Stampin'

 Good morning,  there's a brand new challenge starting today over at Sweet Stampin' Challenges, the theme for this fortnight is '3 of a kind' ie use 3 of something on your project- the possibilities are endless! I recently bought a few new Lavinia Stamps so out they came for a play! Three little mice dancing in the moonlight.
